Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Ariba Trainer to join our team. As an Ariba Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to educate and empower our employees on the effective utilization of the Ariba procurement and sourcing platform. Your expertise in Ariba functionalities, coupled with strong training and communication skills, will play a crucial role in ensuring our workforce maximizes the benefits of this powerful tool. This position requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, excellent instructional abilities, and a passion for driving user adoption and proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Ariba training materials: Design and create comprehensive training materials, including user manuals, guides, online tutorials, and presentations, to facilitate effective learning and understanding of Ariba functionalities.
  • Conduct training sessions: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and remotely, to employees at all levels, ensuring participants acquire the necessary skills to effectively utilize Ariba for their procurement and sourcing needs.
  • Customize training content: Tailor training materials and sessions to meet the specific requirements of different departments, job roles, and skill levels within the organization.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations: Conduct live demonstrations of Ariba features and processes, highlighting best practices and sharing tips and tricks to enhance user productivity and efficiency.
  • Support onboarding of new employees: Collaborate with HR and other relevant stakeholders to incorporate Ariba training as part of the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and accelerated proficiency in using the platform.
  • Stay updated with Ariba releases: Continuously keep abreast of the latest Ariba updates, enhancements, and new features, ensuring training materials and sessions are up to date with the current platform version.
  • Assess training effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve the overall quality of training delivery.
  • Provide ongoing support: Offer post-training support by addressing user questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance to foster Ariba adoption and proficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with procurement, IT, and other relevant teams to identify training needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment of training initiatives with business goals and strategies.
  • Maintain training records: Keep accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and participant feedback to track progress, measure training impact, and generate reports for management as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an Ariba Trainer or in a similar role, delivering Ariba training to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Ariba procurement and sourcing platform, including its modules, features, and best practices.
  • Strong instructional and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to tailor training content to different audiences and adapt training methods to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Ariba releases.
  • Relevant certifications in Ariba or training and development are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $109,000.00 per year
