Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing

As the marketplace demands corporate sustainability, procurement and supply chain professionals must incorporate the principles of sustainability into their various functions. This includes supplier selection, comparing products and services design and characteristics, supplier relationships, logistics activities and measurement of performance—both internally and within the supply base.Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing  will review the principles and benefits of sustainability, accepted sustainability guidelines and standards, methods for implementing and applying those to procurement functions, and how to work with supply chain partners to apply those same standards. In addition, general ethics within purchasing processes will be discussed, as well as ethical sourcing behaviors that are mandatory in today’s environment.
